Seven Valencia Basket Players to Compete in the World Cup in Berlin Valencia Basket’s women’s first team will be represented by seven players—more than half of its roster—at the World Cup, which will be held September 4–13 in Berlin, Germany. Elena Buenavida, Raquel Carrera, Alicia Flórez, and Helena Pueyo have made Spain’s final roster. Elizabeth Balogun has made Nigeria’s roster, Alexis Peterson has made Germany’s, and Virag Tacaks-Kiss has made Hungary’s. All seven are making their World Cup debuts.
